In addition to our primary focus of eliminating the use of jails and prisons for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness, the Sozosei Foundation also makes grants in response to disasters. We bring critical resources to impacted communities. Priority is given to places where Otsuka has a presence globally, with a current focus on climate-related disasters, long-term mental health resiliency following disasters, and COVID 19.
Note: The Sozosei Foundation does not accept unsolicited applications for its disaster philanthropy grantmaking.
